Red beach is located in the highest wetland and is one of the biggest reed marsh in the world. The color is from a type of sea weed called Sueda and it stays green in the summer and turns red in the autumn.
Lake Retba is located in Senegal West Africa north of Dakar (1 hour drive) from the capital city of Senegal. Its pink soft petals of water is formed from a micro-algae called Dunaliella Salina. These organisms gives the lake its pink color. The lake is perfectly safe to swim in as well as fish!
