For many Americans including myself Cuba was a mystery…the untold path for many years until a couple years ago when the U.S. government approved for U.S. citizens to go to Cuba. Cuba is absolutely beautiful with stunning landscapes decorated with huge mountains, turquoise blue ocean waters and white sands!
Cuba is filled with history and culture. You can feel the vibes throughout the country from its people, the music, the artwork, museums, and the colorful buildings that are painted in the neighborhoods creating character and preserving history.
A moment back in time…while walking through the streets of Cuba, you can easily imagine and get a real feel how it was to live back in the 1960s. The streets are filled with old American cars as well as horse carriages. Also, throughout Old Havana you can see plenty of historical sites.
There’s plenty of places to explore while in Cuba but I only recommend these three locations: Havana, Vinales and Trinidad. Other locations really don’t have a lot of things to do and you might get bored. Although, I would not recommend Cuba as a vacation trip more like an educational/historical trip…there’s still plenty to do:
· Cigar Factory Tour
· Old Havana Tour
· Nightlife- Jazz Club La Zorra & Jazz Café
· Discover Vinales Tour
· OldCar Tour
· Trinidad Sightseeing Tour
Quick Travel Tips:
